Mentor Canada is teaming up with Starbucks Canada to host a Power of Mentoring event with youth ages 18-30 in celebration of National Mentoring Month on January 19, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm ET.

The in-person (Toronto) and virtual mentorship experience will include a facilitated panel discussion with Starbucks leaders highlighting their career experiences and insights followed by smaller group career mentoring discussions in breakout rooms.

Participating young leaders will have the opportunity to connect with at least two career mentors. Mentor Canada will provide all career mentors and young leaders participating a conversation guide to support career mentoring discussions along with a pre-event guide with tips to consider in advance.

While being a Starbucks partner for over 20+ years, Glen currently supports Starbucks' retail leaders in the HR space. He also proudly co-chairs the Women’s Impact Network at Starbucks and continues to look for ways to grow and evolve within the company. 

Jeremy Jones-Juliá - National Learning & Development Manager at Starbucks Canada

While working with Starbucks for 18 years now, Jeremy and his team partner closely with global Centers of Excellence and country stakeholders to deliver on programs and initiatives to support learning and development, talent management, and career advancement with the Canadian business.

Kimberly Robin - Store Manager at Starbucks Canada

While having a degree in journalism from Humber College, Kimberly has been with Starbucks for 6 years and is also the Co-Chair for Starbucks Canada Black Partner Network, a partner-led group that brings together partners with shared identities and experiences along with allies. Prior to joining the Starbucks team, Kimberly has always been in a leadership role at different companies. She believes that leading people inspires her to learn from others and understand different perspectives.
